A bright and creature-inspired theme brings the outside in for the children’s area of the Carina Library. Giant bugs take over walls, and a bee-inspired reading hive gives small children a cosy reading nook. Children can also enjoy a tree-shaped interactive game. Designing and fabricating the children’s library area for Carina Library was a lot of fun! The overarching theme brings a sense of predictability to the space which children find comforting.
Giant bugs fascinate children, and this outdoor theme is a fun way to engage small children.

- Floor to ceiling wall graphics
- Giant textile bugs on the wall
- “Bee” reading area with hive shaped nook and hexagonal shelving in bright colours
